Can Afridesign host my Mobi site ?
Yes we can, hosting starts at R65 per month for a basic Mobi site and R99 per month for any database driven mobi sites. Should you need hosting, we will advise you on the most suitable hosting package for your Mobi site.

No, we will design your Mobi site and then you may host with any hosting company of your choosing. We will upload and set it up on whichever hosting provider you make use of.

Maintenance

If I need changes done to my Mobi site, can I make them myself ?
The answer is both yes and no. Yes, we hand over the entire Mobi site to you upon completion, and if you know XHTML-MP and are able to read source code, then you can make XHTML-MP changes to your site. However, if you are not familiar with XHTML-MP and unable to make head or tail of source code, then no, you will not be able to make changes to your site.

PS. You will need 3rd party software to edit the XHTML-MP.

What if I need changes done to my Mobi site ?
Any minor Mobi site changes within the first month of handover will be done free of charge, as long as they are not out of scope of the original project brief, i.e. an additional page or a complete redesign of the Mobi site is considered to be out of scope. After the first month, any changes to your Mobi site will be charged for on a hourly basis. Alternatively, you may opt in for a maintenance agreement which entitles you to a fixed number of hours per month.

Will you offer telephonic and email support after you have finished our Mobi site ?
Yes we will. If you have any issues with your Mobi site and you need some information or help with it, we would be more than happy to look into the problem and assess it. If it is a simple issue, we will try to resolve it in a timely manner, but if it is an issue that has been caused by another person or developer, we reserve the right to charge for it.

What is the Mobi site billing process ?
We require a 50% deposit upfront before we commence with the Mobi design process. Once the Mobi site has been completed and signed off by the client, we require the final 50% to be paid before the Mobi site goes live.

The hosting fees are billed monthly via debit order, at the beginning of every month.
