SMS Training uses interactive SMS questions related to your company & products to increase the knowledge & competence of your staff.
SMS training empowers you to boost your reach and level of personal interaction with your staff.
Having recognised the need for a new approach to staff training and knowledge monitoring, we believe we have an exciting, innovative and extremely powerful mobile training tool that can give you "real time" feedback of the results.
Benefits:
- Boosts Enthusiasm
- Increases Product Confidence / Knowledge
- Increases Service levels
- Real time
- Increased brand awareness
- Invaluable reporting - highlighting knowledge trends
- Convert product knowledge into profits
How does it work ?
1) Design:
- Afridesign will meet with a product specialist / manager requiring the tool in order to determine which aspects of the work environment require examination. At this stage a 'league' of questions is designed. (generally 20 questions - one question per day for four weeks).
- The league of questions centres on specific product or procedural areas that staff need to be trained on.
2) Implementation:
-
The target audience receives one question each day at a designated time. These questions require an answer. The answer generates a response, delivers it to the user and tags a score to that specific user depending on their response.
Each recipient receives a question each morning which has four multiple choice answers. Although it is understood that recipients can easily 'research' the answers or ask their colleagues for answers, we feel this still achieves the fundamental objective of the tool, which is to increase staff knowledge levels and to raise awareness.
'Cheating' behaviour is however discouraged and time limits can be built into the questions, in which case only a specified time window is made available to answer the questions.
-
An example of a question could be:
"Which was the first company to develop a fully automated SMS Training system?
A) Afridesign B) Vodacom C) MTN D) CellC"
-
The person receiving the SMS would then reply with their answer choice, for example the reply for the above would be:
"A" or "Afridesign"
-
Within a few seconds a response is generated and sent to the user. An example of this response is:
"Well Done John, that is the correct answer. Your score is 10. Your current rank is 15th. Thank you for playing today's Quiz"
or
"Sorry John, that answer is INCORRECT. Please try again... Your Score is 9 and your rank is 20th"
- The exact wording will be changed according to the company's needs
3) Post Implementation Analysis:
-
Throughout the duration of the quiz, administrators can view all the statistics online.
-
Once completed, a detailed statistical report is delivered to highlight all statistical trends and identify areas in which additional training could be implemented. In addition high performing individuals can be readily identified and thus rewarded.
4) End Result:
-
Full analysis of all activity is provided in a personal consultation and detailed reports. This data indicates areas of weakness and strength of how your staff understand the products they are supporting or selling.
