Why would you want us to maintain your website? Firstly, it frees you up to run your business, instead of having to spend numerous hours maintaining your site. Secondly, old, outdated content is just not great & there is nothing more frustrating. Thirdly, your website needs to grow with your business, not lag behind it.

Once Off Website Maintenance Details :

Per Hour Rate:

Hourly rate charged for once off website maintenance during office hours.

Billable Increments:

Hourly

Billable time increments for any changes to a website.

First Time Changes to a Website (Min no. of hrs):

2 Hours

"First time changes" refer to any website maintenance requests that we get for websites we have not designed. The reason we charge a minimum of two hours for any website we have not designed, is that we include an additional hour to get familiar with the site & its structure.

PLEASE NOTE: This will only apply to websites that Afridesign has not designed.

Turn around Time:

1^st come, 1^st served

A 50% deposit for the quoted changes will be required before any work commences. Upon receipt of payment, the project will be added to our project list and processed on a first come, first served basis. However, the Afridesign team will still give you an indication of when your changes will be completed.

Once Off Website Maintenance Can Include :

Content Updates:

Website content updates include: Editing existing content on a website, adding additonal content or pages as well as image editing.

Product Updates:

Ecommerce website product updates include: editing existing products on a website and adding additonal products.

Website Traffic Analysis:

Afridesign is able to give Website Traffic Analyses, reporting on visitor trends, and possible solutions to increase website traffic. (This requires Google Analytics to be embeded on your website)

Broken Links Check:

We also check to see if you have any broken links on your website. If we find any, we will repair them.

Specifications Document Creation:

We are happy to create / draft a Specifications Document for your website or a new website.

After Hours Support:

Once off changes will not be processed after normal office hours.

Complete Website Redesign:

A complete website redesign is not included. Should you need a complete redesign, you will be required to provide us with a complete specifications document so that we may quote accordingly on the project.

This is the maximum number of hours that can be carried over to the next month. Please note that the maximum number of hours that can be accumulated, can not exceed 50% of your normal allocation of monthly hours.

i.e. If you opt for the SME package, you can not accrue more than 3.5 hours at any given time. Therefore, the maximum number of hours that can potentially be available to you in a month, is not more than 10.5 hours.

Annual / Biannual Payment Discount:

Should you make an upfront biannual or annual payment, you will receive a discount on your monthly maintenance.

Biannual Payment: Receive a 1/2 month discount.

Annual Payment: Receive a 1 month discount.

Get to use your hours when you need them if you pay annually or biannually

Biannual / Annual Payment - Flexi Hours: *

If you pay biannually or annually, you can use your total number of hours when you need them. Which means that during quiet times, you can "store" your hours. During busy times you can then make use of the hours at your disposal for the entire year. Hours will expire at the end of the 12 month period.

PLEASE NOTE: You can only make use of this option if you pay biannually or annually.

Monthly Usage Reports:

We also provide Monthly reports outlining the total number of hours that have been used.

Once off Maintenance Questions

If I need maintenance done to my website, how do I know what it will cost me ?
All you need to do is draft an email outlining all the changes that you require and send it to info@afridesign.com. We will assess the extent of the changes needed and email a quote to you. You will not be obliged to accept the quote should it fall outside of your budget. Please note that a 50% deposit will be required before any maintenance work commences.

What do you mean by billable increments ?
You will be billed in the following time increments: hourly increments, 30 minute increments, or 15 minute increments. What this means, is that if you are quoted on an hourly basis, and the change only takes 45 minutes to complete, you will still be billed for the full hour.

What is the website maintenance billing process ?
We require a 50% deposit before we commence with any website maintenance. Once the website changes have been completed and signed off by the client, we require the final 50% to be paid before any website changes go live.

Monthly Website Maintenance Questions

If I need maintenance done to my website, how do I know how many hours it will take ?
All you need to do, is draft an email outlining all the changes that you require, and send it to us. We will assess the extent of the changes needed and email you a quote.

Do my hours carry over to the next month ?
Only with the Silver and Gold website maintenance packages do the hours carry over into the next month. Please note the maximum number of hours that can be accumulated can not exceed 50% of your monthly hours.

What are flexi hours ?
The flexi hour option allows you to use the total number of hours for a year, as and when you need them, i.e. you might need to use the majority of your hours upfront, and then use the remainder of hours over the course of the year. Basically, you are allowed you to use your hours as and when you need them.

How do I qualify for flexi hours ?
If you pay your monthly fees biannually or annually, you qualify for flexi hours. If you pay biannually, you will get 6 x monthly hours upfront = total hours that can be used over that period of time. If you pay annually then you get 12 x monthly hours upfront = total hours that can be used over that period of time. Please note any unused hours over the contract time period will expire if not used.

Can I contact Afridesign after hours ?
Only the Silver and Gold packages cater for after hours support.

Yes, if you pay 6 months in advance then you get a half a month discount. If you pay 12 months in advance you get one month FREE, which means you only pay for 11 months.
