An active Afridesign website package is required for the store to remain live.
The website and online store run on our managed platform hosted by Afrihost.
They can’t be moved to other hosting packages or platforms.
We open a limited number of Store Launch Express slots each month to protect turnaround times.
Store Launch Express is billed separately from your website package.

Store Launch EXPRESS
Yes. Store Launch is only available to existing Afridesign Silver (Grow) or higher plans.
New customers must choose a website package first.
Store Launch Express is a professional setup service. The fee covers product setup, configuration, and the launch of e-commerce functionality on an existing Afridesign website package.
Store Launch Express works exclusively on Afridesign website packages and runs on a managed platform hosted on Afrihost servers.
It does not include ownership of software, source code, database, or a portable online store that can be moved to another platform or hosting environment. This is because Store Launch Express is a fully managed service. We handle software updates, security, and technical maintenance for you.
We set up a max of 25 products.
You can use your monthly maintenance hours for extra products or request a Bulk Import for large catalogues. Additional charges will apply for Bulk Imports.
Everything is managed in one place.
The dashboard lets you control products, stock, orders, customers, coupons, and basic settings.
You can sign up for Payfast, YOCO, PayPal, Stripe, EFT, and Cash-on-Delivery.
Applications and approvals with the payment providers themselves must be completed by you.
We can set up the following options:
Flat rate, per-item, free collection, or conditional free delivery.
No. Store Launch includes standard online store features only.
Advanced features such as subscription billing, multi-currency, custom checkout logic, and external plugins are not supported on our platform.
Product names, descriptions, pricing, categories, images, shipping rules, and payment gateway details must be supplied before any Store Launch Express work begins.

If we miss this 7-day timeline for reasons within our control, we will continue adding products at no extra cost, up to a maximum of 50 products in total, and prioritise any required changes until your store is ready to go live.
Weekends and public holidays are excluded from the timeline.

No. Store Launch only works on websites built on our platform.
We do not migrate external stores or custom plugins.
The Afridesign website package is a managed website service that includes the website platform, hosting, and maintenance as a single service.
If you cancel the Afridesign service or downgrade to an Afrihost hosting-only package, the managed website service ends. This means the website and any e-commerce functionality are no longer active or accessible, even though your Afrihost hosting account may remain active.
A full calendar month’s notice is required. At the end of the notice period, all Afridesign services and maintenance stop.
Afridesign websites run on our platform hosted on Afrihost servers and aren’t portable to other hosting environments.
